Goal to losing 25lbs

After 4 years from the birth of my last child, I've bloomed to a 156lbs for a mere 5'3" tall. Within these few years, I've moved to a town without family or friends, lost my mother to cancer, ailing father, laid off from a job of 10 years- twice (yesterday being the second time), divorcing (arduous process), diagnosed with hypothyroidism (contributed to weight gain), becoming single mother of teen twins and toddler -all girls, gray hairs coming in. Life has hit a big bump and I wasn't sure how I was going to land. My survival after my mother passed in 2008 involved first to focus my attention immediately on something positive and goal oriented. So, I enrolled in a full-time university. I offered daycare to help with finances. I ended up caring for a lovely infant from 6 months for 3 years. She is now 3.5 years old. I also fixed my thyroid levels through proper foods. In December 2011, I graduated the University with honors among a few other accomplishments which helped me to feel good enough to get moving. Yesterday I was laid off the second time around. Moving on -literally I'll be moving on June 22, 2012 to New York City with family and finally be near a support system. In the interim, jobless and about to sign the divorce papers, life feels like it is in pieces. After a few hours of pure sadness and internalizing it so my kids did not have to suffer the situation, I gathered my self-esteem and set another goal. Follow me through this process of healthy weight loss, moving and finding work.
